I played in a couple of new venues at the end of the year. The first being Poole's of Gorey
Co. Wexford where I grew up. Stephen Stack the promoter is a keen music fan and an
accomplished DJ who saw the need for venue that would be friendly to original songwriters
and musicians and fortunately he has found a home in Poole's for both local and national artists
who let loose now every Friday night. I did my first gig there on the 7th of November '03
with Cello accompaniment. There was a young lively audience on the night including some very
familiar faces and the atmosphere was up tempo. I did my second gig there soon after on January
23rd this year and enjoyed it immensely. If you are in the area on a Friday night it's well worth
checking it out
