Have to say last nights gig was a stormer with a highly appreciative audience that included Mike Mills from REM!Yet another gig promoted by Martin Egan that was a success in every respect for the musicians. We couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere. Much thanks and respect is due to the Maeman.

Welcome everyone to my new website and many thanks to the webmaster king, my brother Alan Mac Donald for setting up the whole thing in no time at all, and for taking me through the in's and out's of it with the utmost precision! Suffice to say - You rock my keyboard! Alan can be reached at webmaster@woodysagoo.com or you can find out more about him by logging into www.alanmacdonald.com Posted by woody @ 05:19 PM GMT [Link] Friday, March 7, 2002 Big thanks to Ronan O' Snodaigh for playing percussion and adding some soulful vocals to "Refugee Angel" and many congratulations to you and all of KILA for picking up the Meteor award for best Irish traditional act. Best of luck with the new album "Monkey". Love and luck Woody Posted by woody @ 02:19 PM GMT [Link] Much thanks is due to Colm Quearney who has given much of his time and talent in the studio and who has added some real punch to the recordings. You're a real pleasure to work with Colm! His own album "The world is not round" is well worth checking out along with his website www.colmquearney.com Posted by woody @ 02:09 PM GMT [Link] The next gig in Whelan's is on the 27th of March 2002. It's a triple headliner with two of the members of an up and coming irish band called "Blotooth", Ken Stringfellow from the well known Seattle band "The Posies" and currently playing piano and guitar with R.E.M(with whom along with fellow Posy Jon Auer I did my first gig in Whelan's), and of course my good self. I'm planning to play with Robin Hurt (no relation to John!!) a shithot guitarist from Scotland now living and working in Dublin who is responsible for much of the guitar work on the recordings as well as all the guitar work on "Silverwrists" Naimee Colemans debut album on Sony. Checkout www.theposies.com and www.blotooth.com for biog's etc. It should be a busy night so get there early to catch all the action! Love Woody.
